Comparing Data from Excel
Differencia cannot currently read Excel files directly. However individual Excel Worksheets can be exported to Comma Separated Values format (CSV), which Differencia understands, with no data loss;
To Compare Data from Excel:
- Open the source data file in Excel
- Select the specific worksheet containing the data you want to compare
- In Excel, choose File > Save As...
- In the File Save dialog box, Select Format: CSV (Comma delimited)
- Select a destination to save the file. Ensure that the saved file has a .csv extension
- Select OK and YES for any warnings given by Excel
- In Differencia use the saved CSV file as normal.
